Dave has been the minister at St Mark's since February 2018 and loves it!
He first came to know Jesus through his parents and Sunday School teacher.
Dave became a minister because he was so thankful for all the people who helped him to know Jesus and understand the gospel. He wanted to help other people in the way he had been helped.
Before coming to Sadleir, Dave worked as a carpenter, before becoming a youth minister at Merrylands, and a missionary in North West Australia with BCA.
Dave is married to Priya and they have 3 daughters. Apart from Jesus, his family and his church family, Dave loves bikes, board-games, a good meal with friends and going on random road trips.
Anglicare Community Chaplain
Beejai has recently been appointed the Community Chaplain at St Mark's Sadleir.
Beejai is so thankful for all the people who helped him know Jesus and understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Beejai knows that God created a perfect world and through sin it became a broken world. But through Jesus' death on a cross, we have been restored to God.
Through this Beejai has always wanted to help people in the way he had been helped. So, when the Community Chaplain role was available, he applied and was successful.
Before coming to Sadleir, Beejai worked as a case manager in the drug and alcohol industry before becoming a therapeutic case manager in out of home care.
Beejai loves long distance bike rides with friends and having family trime.
Susan is responsible for the administration and communications within the Parish of St Mark's Sadleir. She was previously Kids', Youth and Families Pastor, but is enjoying the new role and change of pace. Susan is probably the first person you'll meet if you contact the church!
Susan met Jesus through the lunch time group in High School, then through youth Bible studies at church. After studying a music education degree at Sydney Conservatorium of Music, she taught music at a High School in Sydney South West and led a local youth group while living in the Shire.
During this time, she developed a passion for ministry in South West Sydney, and took the opportunity to leave full time teaching for the chance to study theology and serve the Lord in South West Sydney.
Susan also enjoys teaching High School SRE through Generate Ministries in a local High School.
Susan is married to Anthony, and they have 2 young children. They love living in the South West and they would love to meet you!
Ans van der Zwaag
Pastoral Care Worker
Ans has worked as a preschool teacher and as a qualified counsellor before ministry. In 1989 she finally understood about God's grace - that it's NOT about us being good enough, but all about Jesus taking the punishment for our sins - past and future. This totally changed the course of her life, as she learned to live Jesus' way of life.
Ans served in Kairos prison ministry in Emu Plains before becoming a CMS missionary, working with women on the streets and in brothels in Johannesburg, South Africa. This included setting up a women's ministry at Christ Church Hillbrow.
Ans joined the team at St Mark's in 2012. She is involved in equipping, discipling and encouraging women in their walk with God. She enjoys movies, books, and chats over a cappuccino.
Kendall is currently studying an Advanced Diploma of Ministry at Youthworks College. As a ministry apprentice at Sadleir Anglican, Kendall leads in children's, youth and music ministries. Ever since, Kendall has been passionate about helping other people have a close relationship with Jesus. Kendall studied psychology at the University of Sydney for 3 years before she began studying at Youthworks.
In her spare time, Kendall enjoys reading, walking her beagle, going to the beach and playing board games.
