For Jesus' return

​Heavenly Father,

​

We come before You with hearts filled with longing for the return of Jesus. We thank You for the promise He made to come again and gather His elect from the four winds. We yearn for the day when we will be united with Him in eternal glory. We humbly ask, Lord, that You hasten the day of His return. Let Your kingdom come swiftly, and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

As we eagerly await His coming, help us to keep watch and remain steadfast in our faith. Grant us the wisdom to discern the signs of the times and to live with readiness and devotion. Enable us to prioritise our lives according to the truth of His imminent return, seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness.

We also lift up those who have not yet come to know Jesus, and are unprepared for His return. Open their hearts to receive the truth of Your gospel and the love of Christ. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, draw them into a saving relationship with Jesus. Give us the boldness and compassion to proclaim the good news, that many may come to know Him and be prepared for His glorious return.
